About the role
A key operational role within a rapidly expanding luxury beauty brand, the Supply Planner will be responsible for ensuring efficient supply of products to meet customer and business needs.
We are looking for someone with supply planning experience, who is an excellent communicator and relationship-builder, and is able to identify and implement continuous improvement activities. This exciting role is ideal for an individual that is willing to get stuck into the detail of the supply plan whilst still managing to focus on the big picture.

The key responsibilities will include;
Creating the 18 months China supply plan to ensure stock is procured and allocated across the network in an efficient manner
Working collaboratively with the operations, commercial, and marketing functions to ensure their needs are reflected in the supply plan
Building strong relationships with third party suppliers to ensure that critical product shortages are resolved and lead-times are kept to
Working closely with the new product development team to ensure that any supply risks are actively monitored and alleviated from product conception through to launch
Communicating supply risks across the business in an informative and effective manner
Embed the newly launched supply planning tool within the business
Inputting to the S&OP process to flag sales and financial risks due to supply and inventory constraints
Monitoring performance of the third party supplier(s) along with identifying risk areas and proactively implementing improvement projects
Managing inbound transportation with the third party logistics providers(s)
Working efficiently and effectively across a rapidly growing China organization
Maximizing the delivery of sustainable improvements in supply chain KPIs
Managing and multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to obtain the best outcomes for the business and minimize supply risks
In addition to these responsibilities, you will be comfortable with and excited by the following:

Maximizing the delivery of sustainable improvements in supply chain KPIs
Managing and multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to obtain the best outcomes for the business and minimize supply risks
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have;
5 years’ experience in a supply planning environment, preferably in the FMCG area
Experience in a supplier facing role within a logistics or supply chain capacity
Ability to take ownership of projects/improvements right through to the end result
Understanding and commercial awareness of the total supply chain including sales operations and demand planning
Experience in supplier pricing negotiations
Be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation, both internally and externally
Outstanding attention to detail, identifying and addressing anomalies
Be a quick learner with great problem-solving skills
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
Experience with implementing new supply planning tools/software
Proficiency in Italian is beneficial
